It’s Everywhere And It Hurts So Bad

Sitting here today, I think about how much cancer has affected so many people I care about.  Yet, I am shocked when I hear someone else I know has now been impacted by it.  I talked to an old friend today for the first time in about a year.  Within the first few seconds of the conversation she told me how her sister was recently diagnosed with cancer and passed away.  My heart skipped a beat….another one!!  It’s everywhere but somehow I feel there’s not enough awareness.  How could that be possible?  Everywhere I look I see cancer, but I feel like not enough people are aware of how bad it really is because if they were, they’d be fighting just like me.

How blessed are those that have not had to endure the pain that cancer causes.  I will never forget when my mother said “I didn’t know how bad cancer would hurt, not just physically, but emotionally too”.    Those words came from one of the strongest women I have ever been blessed enough to have in my life.  My eldest sister is the strongest by far!!!!

So let’s work together to continue to raise cancer awareness.  Remember, we are stronger together, always!!

I founded heyyou3.com after having cancer affect my life too many times. I have lost both of my parents to cancer and many other family members have either passed away from it or are battling it. i decided I had to do something to make a difference. Heyyou3.com was started to make a difference in the lives of individuals battling the terrible disease. One step at a time we will make a difference!!!!#strongertogetheralways
