Thankful Grateful and so very Blessed

On this weirdly quiet Thanksgiving Day, I sit here reflecting on all of my treasures…. that is what I call my memories….treasures.  I feel happy, and sad all at the same time. 

Growing up was not easy by any stretch of the imagination, but when the holidays came, it was ALWAYS perfect.  Family is one of the most important things in my life.  Being together and celebrating each other. We sing, we hoot, we cheer and then of course, we shed our tears.  Since losing both of our parents to Lung Cancer, it has not been the same.  Their presence is greatly missed.  

I am Thankful Grateful and so very Blessed to have the best family I could ask for.  Thank you all for being you and thank you God for picking me!!!!!
